A brief story of SPADE
Who
SPADE is the socio-economic society of Shivaji College, which aims at unfolding the important issues prevailing in the social and economic domain with a practical outlook and redefine preconceived notions. It provides students with a platform to be vocal about the question marks we face in the developing world.

Keeping the objective to unfurl the socio-economic issues in mind, we organizes series of events that includes interactive sessions, workshops, seminars to add a cherry on the cake each year we produces a solution based documentary to attract the attention of our audience towards the problems we face as the world transforms into a better version of itself, and an annual research book “Arthmanthan” to put the facts into words.

It is always the result of a commitment to excellence, intelligent planning, and focused efforts.” We at SPADE are a family of young enthusiasts with four teams who work tirelessly to make an event a success and it is because of these efforts that SPADE has always outshined.
Vision
We, at SPADE, believe creativity leads to connectivity. “Redefining Preconceived Notions”, the motto used by the society, completely shows the essence of what the society stands for.
Activities
To give students unbiased platforms to express themselves, SPADE organizes a variety of events, including webinars, seminars, workshops, and group discussions, with the aim of providing them with knowledge and insights.
